Calendar Art

This year, our calendar art is inspired by our Term 3 inquiry into Icons of New Zealand.
We dyed our background using two colours.
The students then chose three icons.
The first icon was made using dye and line drawing.
The second icon was made by scraping designs in wet paint.
The third icon was made using 'scratch art': painting over crayon then scratching it.
We then took a photograph in a fun pose.
